For the projects with a clear and fixed scope, we use the iterative waterfall methodology that facilitates a linear approach of development. We use this methodology over traditional waterfall method because it provides you a clear vision of what your project will look like since the initial stage along with flexibility for error corrections at a later stage. Here's how it works.When you approach us with the requirements of your project, our Business Analyst with the help of our technical team, provides you a high level estimation within 1-2 days.
If you find the estimation optimal, we prepare a detailed SoW (Statement of Work) that includes details of deliverables, tasks to achieve them, it’s timeline and cost per task, and will be sent to you for approval.Once reviewed and approved by you, we’ll divide the tasks into different milestones with their deadlines and initiate its execution which is followed by quality testing and user acceptance testing. It is then handed over to you for feedback and once changes are made (if any) a milestone is completed. The payment for such development is made on completion of each milestone.
What if my project needs continuous enhancements and changes?
If your project needs gradual enhancements or if the initial requirements are clear but there’s a need to redefine or change at a later stage of development - we employ the Agile methodology with Scrum.We initiated the project by determining product backlogs that is the list of features and functionalities of your project. Once the backlogs are decided, our team along with the clients prioritize and select the features to work on and create sprints. Sprint planning usually takes 2-3 weeks and it includes defining deliverables and way to develop them.
Once the sprints are decided we move on to development where the decided fraction of the project is developed. Each sprint is time-bound and by the end of each sprint, we deliver a shippable product. We also conduct a retrospective on the process by receiving your feedback and analyze the develop product. Once done we work on the next sprint and this cycle repeats until the final product is developed.
